Camping Alentejo Camping Rural Os Anjos 1.5 km from Campo Maior, First campsite in Portugal across the border at Badajoz (Extremadura) 15 minutes and 20 minutes from Elvas Unesco

Spain-Madrid-Sevilla-Salamanca-Cáceres: 

Follow the A5/E90 from Madrid to Lisbon. At exit number 403, still in Spain, go towards Badajoz and Campo Maior. Follow the direction to Campo Maior (right) (BA 020). After 5 kilometers, you will reach the Portuguese border.
Easy but narrower road: After the border, take the first turn to the right, see the camping sign with an arrow. Continue until the second turn to the left, see the camping sign with an arrow.
You may drive through here; there is also a sign “no entry” (exceto autocaravana and a farm), but our guests are allowed to enter. Keep driving until you see our campsite on the right-hand side.

More difficult – pay close attention to the route description: If, after the Spanish border, you continue straight ahead, you will reach the first roundabout – do not go straight on to Campo Maior 3.5 ton but turn left towards Arronches/Portalegre and continue to the second roundabout. Do not turn right to Campo Maior 3.5 ton but go straight towards Arronches, Portalegre, Monforte, Zona Industrial, and reach the third roundabout. There, turn right to Campo Maior. You will reach a roundabout with the Continente and Intermarché supermarkets – turn right towards Ouguela/Campo Maior and follow the signs “Parque de Campismo Rural. Along the square, turn right, drive past the fire station (Bombeiros) on the right and the football stadium on the left, 800 meters further there is a “no entry” sign, but not for camping guests – they can continue straight ahead, and on the left, you will see our campsite.

Lisbon-Evora-Elvas :   

Follow the A6 towards Spain. Take exit 11 Elvas and Campo Maior. Turn right onto N373 towards Campo Maior. Eventually, you will see Campo Maior ahead.
At the first roundabout, do not go straight following the 3.5 t Campo Maior sign, but turn left towards Arronches, Portalegre, Monforte, Industrial Zone.
At the second roundabout, turn right towards Campo Maior. You will see the castle on your right.
Continue straight until you reach the roundabout in Campo Maior with Continente and Intermarché supermarkets.
Here, turn right into the town centre of Campo Maior/Ouguela. Drive past the town park (on the left) straight ahead, following signs for Parque de Campismo Rural
Pass the fire station (on the right) and football stadium (on the left), continue straight for about 800 m until you see our campsite Os Anjos on the left.

Via N4 Lissabon-Elvas : Continue on the N4 until you reach Elvas. In Elvas, under the aqueduct, take the road to Campo Maior (N373). After a while, you will see Campo Maior ahead of you.
At the first roundabout, do not go straight following the sign “Campo Maior 3.5 tons”, but turn left towards Arronches, Portalegre, Monforte, Industrial Zone.
At the second roundabout, turn right towards Campo Maior. You will see the castle on your right.
Continue straight until you reach the roundabout in Campo Maior with the Continente and Intermarché supermarkets.
Here, turn right into the town centre of Campo Maior/Ouguela. Drive past the town park (on the left) and continue straight, following the signs for “Parque de Campismo Rural.

Nisa -Portalegre-Arronches : From Portalegre, follow the N246 towards Elvas/Arronches/Campo Maior. Continue driving to Campo Maior. You will arrive at the roundabout in Campo Maior (with the Intermarché and Continente supermarkets); turn left here towards the town centre of Campo Maior and follow the signs for “Parque de Campismo Rural.”
Drive past the town park (on the left), then turn right and go straight at the roundabout, passing the fire station (on the right) and the football stadium (on the left). After 800 metres straight ahead, you will see our campsite Os Anjos on the left.

Monforte-Sta Eulalia-Campo Maior :  From Monforte N243 to Sta Eulalia and then on to Campo Maior along the lake Baragem do Caia  continue for 8 kilometers at the end of the road roundabout to the left to Campo Maior. At the second roundabout (Continente and Intermarche supermarkets) turn right to the center of Campo Maior (see signs for Parque de Campismo Rural) Past the city park (left) continue straight ahead, follow the signs for Park de Campismo Rural to the right and at the next roundabout straight ahead past the fire brigade (right) and the football stadium (left) straight ahead and after 800 meters on the left you will see Camping Os Anjos.
